Abrahamson and The Facade

Abrahamson & The Façade is a pseudonym created in 2006 by Tyler Futrell to distinguish his recordings in the indie-folk-ish realm from his work as a composer of experimental or 'contemporary classical' music.

The music is mostly acoustic and melancholic, and does have some references to classical composers such as Beethoven and Mahler. Other references include John Denver's 'Country Roads,' whose chorus is made the verse (with different texts) in 'You Call My Name.'

All recordings are performed, recorded, and mixed by Tyler Futrell during a summer stay in his hometown of Santa Rosa, California.
