My name is Jeremy B. Northup. I make electronic music. I call this music negativeX. The following tracks are one work called "stream of unconsciousness". Please Enjoy.

I've been writing electronic music for about 13 years. I live and grew up in Michigan. I play the guitar, bass, keyboards, and I have a passionate relationship with the programming of analogue and virtual analogue synthesizers. I'm basically a post-Eno era synthesizer, midi, and computer geek. I am a CG artist by trade.

I usually describe my groove like this: The sound of an a.m. radio tuned halfway between two stations at 4:17 am, but with a hard uber-industrial beat behind it. Throw in some underwater piano breaks and confused sounding synth noise, and you're beginning to get the idea. I wrote and recorded this little miasma of cosmic moods of an album called "stream of unconsciousness" quite some time ago; production spanned mid-1998 through August of 2000. All 18 tracks are published under the Creative Commons' "Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 United States" flavored license, although here on Opsound they have not updated licensing options to include CC 3.0- so it stands temporarily that all my songs are stated as CC 2.5. I am interested in collaboration, providing content for others to remix, sample, or listen to in stock form. Please enjoy, and thanks for checking my stuff out. Peace! More to come. :)
