El título del disco es "Rescued Tapes", dividido en dos volúmenes. El disco es una especie de antologÌa de temas que sobraron entre los años 2001 y 2007 y quisimos juntarlos en un disco. Los discos de donde han surgido la mayorÌa de los temas de este volumen son: Cosmic Trash (2001), At Home (2002), Canciones de los Mundos Oníricos (2003). Animals (2005), DVD "Documentary of Blues" - Inédito (2007); Lude es un tema nuevo En el disco se notan paisajes sonoros, sonidos surrealistas, u otros que consideramos y llamamos "oníricos". También se advierten situaciones "ambient" y atmosféricas. Creemos que valió la pena juntar estos temas, ya que suenan bien en conjunto a pesar de ser temas que provienen de diferentes épocas de la banda. Pareciera que los temas habían quedado afuera por alguna razón, y hoy creemos que la razón es este disco

Station Pt. 2

"Station" is an EP. The sources of this album are from the album "El Viaje Mistico" (The Mystical Journey), originally released in 2001. The sounds of "El Viaje" are, essentially, fields recordings from a journey by train in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For "Stations" we selected fragments and sections from those recordings and we remixed them to obtain new tracks. We think that "Station" is a soundscape. We are very satisfied with the results, because we believe that the originals recordings have been improved in this album

"Canciones de Nuevos Mundos" (Songs of New Worlds) is a record that we released in 2004. It consists of new versions of songs that originally appeared in the album "Canciones de los Mundos OnÌricos" and some new songs that follow a specific pattern: It is, essentially, our first ambient album. The music recalls underwater galaxies and life in other worlds....Other worlds created by The Cherry Blues Project.

The Cherry Blues Project was formed in 2001 as a soundart project. It was created by two members that use the pseudonymns "Cherry" & "Blues". The music of The Cherry Blues Project involves a lot of styles, scattered throughout their 100 albums, 150 singles and EP's. As a band, we rarely perform Live. We focus on the creation of our albums, in our little studio. When we began with the project we didn't know how to continue, or if what we were doing had any value or significance at all. As time went by, we discovered artists that had a similar approach to music as we did, and it made us realize that what we did was really important. We used to think that our work was nothing, that they were close to pure noise. But the time showed us that we were wrong.

WHAT IS THE CHERRY BLUES PROJECT?

First of all, we could say that it is a hobby for us; something we enjoy. An Act of Creation. The process starts with the "Game" and with the sounds of reality. We believe that our works are autobiographical; each of one of them representing a certain stage in our lives and our career as a "band". In a lot of our albums we can find: humour; noise; game; performance; free experiences; absurdity; Silliness; things not to be taken seriously; lies; satire; records impossible to listen to; talent; integrity and homogenity; concepts; lack of respect towards ears; sonic terrorism; contemplations of life; contradictions; electricity; unplugged; calm; chaos; idle; conversations and chats; violence, etc, etc, etc, etc.
